The Velec Citi is one of the most popular electric bikes in Canada. This is the Step Through version, in which the top bar is lower for easier boarding. With a clean design, a built-in battery and a discreet in-wheel motor, it's the perfect lightweight city companion. The Citi 500 model is equipped with a 500 Watt motor and is available with either one or two batteries — with an additional second battery on the rear rack.

Optimal for Riders: 5'2" to 5'5" (Small) ; 5'6" to 5'9" (Medium) ; 5'10" to 6'1" (Large)

The Velec Citi 500 is equipped with a 500 Watt motor at the rear wheel. It can be equipped with one or two batteries depending on the range needs. The main battery is integrated into the frame and is removable for easy recharging. The second battery is an additional purchase that is installed on your bike's rear rack and adds 30 kilometers range. The Velec Citi is a discreet electric bike, ideal for urban areas and sportier riding. It exists in step through as well as top bar models for easier boarding. The Velec Citi has 5 levels of electric assistance, cruise control and a thumb throttle for easier starting. It can also be used as a traditional bike (without assistance.) The bike is equipped with front and rear fenders, front and rear LED headlights, rear rack, adjustable stem, console color digital display, puncture-proof tires and front and rear hydraulic disc brakes with motor cut-out.

Description

The Citi 500 Step through is a lightweight urban bike, in which all electrical components are integrated. This gives you the look of a classic bike, with small tubes, but with all the power of a good ebike. The powerful yet quiet rear wheel 500 watts motor will help you go a lot further, faster, and run up steep hills easily. The Citi’s models are agile, easy and fun to ride, as much for commuting than for a journey on scenic routes. The step through model is available is sizes small, medium and large and gives you more space to hop on your bike. In addition to the main 10Ah battery, you can install an additional 7Ah battery to the rear carrier rack, for longer range, up 115 kilometers in pedal assistance mode.
